Answer: Our mechanical blades open on impact and remain open as they travel through the animal or target but upon exiting, the rapid deceleration of the arrow will commonly cause the blades to fold back forward into the closed position. It is very common to find our mechanical broadhead blades in the closed position after passing through an animal or target however this does not mean that they did not open. As long as the Broadhead was assembled properly it opened. I shot through a deer or a target and my Broadhead was found in the closed position.
